1988: Foundation of the company and patent registrations.

1989: Approval of the CE-mark for the ‘Variphone®’ hearing protector.

1990: Marketing of the ‘Variphone®’ hearing protector.

1991: Commercialisation of maintenance on the ‘Variphone®’ hearing protector.

1994: Commercialisation of the 'Guarantee on the prevention of occupational deafness'.

1995: Introduction of the ‘Varilink’.

1996: Introduction and marketing of the 2-way communication system ‘Varicom®’.

1997: Introduction and marketing of the in-ear-monitor called 'Varimonitor©'.

1998: European licence for ‘dual driver’ in-ear-monitors.

1999: Introduction of the ‘Varitel’.

2000: Introduction of the ‘ NoiseBan®’ hearing protector.

2001: Introduction of  wireless communication with custom made earpieces. Expansion of the In-Ear Monitors market.  

2002: Since October 2001 new offices on new location : Peer (Be). Building of new infrastructure: 2 new laboratories and new R&D room near the offices. Benelux licence for "Elite Series" in ear monitors.

2003: Settling in the 2 new laboratories. European licence for Elite Series in-ear monitors and other ‘Westone Music Products’.

2004: Development of several applications concerning communication. Launching of the active hearing protector AEP-1.

2005: Launching of the ‘Microcom’ and the ‘Wireless Ear’.

 2006: Variphone takes over Helutex BV from Netherlands.

2007: Introduction of the ES3: First true 3-way In-Ear monitor.

2008: Heluxtex BV becomes Variphone NL.

2009: Variphone takes majority shares in Noiseclipper South Africa.

2010: Variphone employes a Hearingcoach.

2010: Introduction of the ES5: In-Ear monitor with 5 drivers.
